Mike is amazing! If you are reading this review, just stop now and call him! My wife and I used a plumber, previously, from a chain company that came out and did a couple of repairs, kind of rushed, and not much of a people person. Not only did Mike fix four different issues in my guest bathroom, but he fixed a piece on my kitchen sink, and even declutterred the piping under the sink. He showed me the flaw from the other plumber and fixed it. It’s clear, he cares about taking care of the customer, and his years of experience make a definite difference! He is the only guy I will call, from now on, when I have any plumbing issues.
Mike at A-1 was able to work me in with short notice and quickly resolve a bad clog. He also set me up with the kit and showed me how to clean my hot water heater. I recommend A-1 for your plumbing needs.

This company, and Mike specifically, may be the best contractor I have ever had the pleasure of using. He busted his butt fixing an old toilet and didn’t just try to sell me a new one. And then he did an outside inspection - without me even asking - and found a crack in my outdoor pipe. Sure enough I did. He worked Friday night until midnight fixing that crack. Unreal service. Can’t recommend this company enough.

Called Mike to come fix a leaking kitchen sink & problematic garbage disposal. He was able to quickly identify the problem and even made suggestions on what to do should in case the problem arises again. He is honest, punctual, and didn't overcharge. Book him. You won't regret it.
Mike is a great guy and a great plumber. He is responsive, honest and professional. We needed to have our gas line moved just enough to fit in our new oven and cooktop, redo our kitchen sink drains from 2 to 1 drains and install our new faucet and disposal. We are very pleased with everything! Even when our appliance installation came over an hour early, creating an overlap with plumbing, Mike stayed cool and professional, working well with our installer. We will definitely be calling him again for all our plumbing needs!
I found A-1 Rooter Plumbing and Septic while researching and reading reviews for honest plumbers in my area. I had narrowed it down to 3 to contact. Mike from A-1 Plumbing certainly came out on top. I needed a water heater replacement and decided to replace two toilets as well. We spoke on the phone and he is easy to talk to and not a pushy salesman. He has many years of experience. He came out on time, installed all three items, cleaned up after himself leaving no mess and hauled away the old items. His pricing is so fair and VERY competitive. I recommend Mike and A-1 Plumbing 100% and will never consider anyone else. Call Mike you will be very pleased with his ethics and workmanship.

He removed the leaky hot water heater that had deteriorated the platform and was patient waiting for the handy man to replace the wood and then install new hot water heater. He is professional and dependable.
The Best! Our home is under contract, and we had a request from the buyer to correct a sump pump vent issue to get through our due diligence and complete our sale. We only had 2 days to get it done. Mike had it fixed for us the very next day in less than an hour for a fantastic price! He had fixed a toilet issue for us in the past after a contractor remodeled our bathroom and was telling us it would be $400 to come back out and fix the job he didn't do correctly. That's when I found Mike. He fixed it the same day for $75! Fast forward to needing our sump pump vented properly...the contractor who finished our basement a few years prior quoted me between $1-$2K. Mike fixed it the next day for $175! Mike is a life saver. Our home had an awful high-pitch loud whining-like sound for several days and it was driving us crazy. We tracked it down to a pipe under one of our sinks but couldnt figure out how to fix it. Contacted Mike and A-1 Rooter via Yelp and he answered very quickly. He came when he said he would, spotted the problem and resolved it immediately! Mike was very professional, respectful and fair. If i ever have plumbing needs, definitely will contact Mike and A-1 again.
Had a water leak in the yard between the meter and the house. Mike came out same day on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend and had us back up and flowing in a couple of hours! Great service and work especially on short notice. I hope I don’t need a plumber again, but if I do I’m calling Mike!

A1 Rooter Plumbing and Septic responded to my emergency call to repair a leaky gas line with speed and grace. The gas company shut my gas off because of the leak yesterday and A1 has me cooking with gas again today! They did a quick and thorough job. I will definitely use them again.

I called early morning after both toilets in house were not flushing and there was backup in tubs. Mike answered the phone and we arranged for him to come to my house around noon.
